I Follow The Instrument

Straight to the point

The Sea said to the Land, “My oceans, leave your continents alone.” But the Land preserved, “But your oceans wash all my shores, then how can I leave my continents alone?”

And the Sea said, “It is because I follow the instrument from the Moon, yet I follow still today.”

But the Land said, “My continents honour the Sun more than the Moon; hence I still thank the Moon.”

“But wisdom comes and goes, alas, you need me more than the Sun.”

“Please don’t amuse me because I know what you mean.”

The Sea smiled, “I lead by my conscience to obey the order of the Moon.”

And the Land preserved, “Yet I pray the Sun to recharge the Moon for some of my nights.”

“And you cry before the Sun, and he evaporates me for you.”

“Oh, that evaporation, oh, I am content with that evaporation.”

The Sea insisted, “Then consider this, the Sun evaporates my oceans to make clouds and will.”

“Rain?” amused the Land, “I know. That makes sense to me, but you keep making all the clouds for my continents worldwide, so I won’t be drought or famished.”
